Wales up against it with main men missing, good concentrated defense first half, a few moments but France were not going to let up, it had some good breaks involved at some points.

Ireland V England was great for sure, Ireland are looking v.good especially after some of the setback they've had this 6 too.

Nice result for Scotland, I didn't get to see much of the game unfortunately but picked out bit's from the radio.

Well, I never did make that bet on France, I suppose that's a bonus in a way.

Didn't see the Scotland-Italy game. Would have been nice for Italy 'to confirm' what they showed against France, then again, they were playing away...

Ireland-England; one of the nicest games of the tournament (that looked mediocre in general). The English already imagine themselfs the next world champion, so it's cool to see them get beaten like that :D

Wales-France: France looked great in the breakdown, Harinonondoqui (n°8, can't remember his name) played much much better than Chabal did in all the previous games combined. Trinh-Duc & Clerc were good, the rest of the French backs, kinda meh...I'd love to see Bastareaud play again! Swap him for Traille maybe.

As for Wales, the Hook sinbinning was stupid, but I doubt they could have won without the SB. Impressive run by George North.

Next up, WC 2011! (stupid time difference...)

I agree that it should never have been a sinbinning for Hook (also agree that it wouldn't have made a huge difference).

Italy did play hard, we just played harder :) It's been strange seeing France play with such inconsistancy. Apparently Bastareaud is going to be playing in the RWC, which is awesome, such a powerfuly player!

Looking back over the tournament, England have been the only team to play with any level of consistancy. But all in all, it's been pretty bland unfortunately :(

From what I saw (which being State-side wasn't much) it was pretty apparent that England had this in the bag since day one. This was made even more obvious when they realized they'd clinched the tourney with France's win, but it was nice seeing Ireland pummel the crap out of them.

Can't wait 'til September when the US gets destroyed by Australia, Ireland, and Italy and we don't even make it past pool play.
