I now have 4 six stringers - 2 fretted (Adler and KSD - pictured...for sale or trade (also in the BASSES FOR SALE SECTION) and 2 fretless Brices - one Prestige Z Bolt on (not made anymore) and a V2 (also not made anymore).

I have a custom Brice Prestige Z on order, and I'lll drop an Audere 4 band preamp into it.

passive/active?
I am thinking in getting a STR, I just don't whether a single coil or dual coil. they look awesome

The controls are

* Active / Passive switch
* Mid Frequency Control switch
* Master Tone Control
* High, Mid, Low, Master Tone, Balance, Vol

The pre is a Bartolini. I tried a couple of STR and enjoyed them all but quite different. The dual coil was a bit polite for my taste, it had an OBP 3 on and didn't have a coil split switch which I imagine can be requested. I then tried a 6 string exactly like mine except for body wood and fingerboard, the sound was close to what I wanted and I went for it.
The craftmanship it 10+

Brian (Lowend) has a very nice 6 string dual coil in stock these days.

Nice man. I've been choking in my own GAS for a fretless warwick6. By chance do you know if Warwick makes thumb 6 broadneck fretless?
