Love that F, Speyer.
Fullrangebass-that redwood Dingwall has got to be in my top 5 of all time. I have an unnatural phobia of foam, so I get mixed emotions with that pic :D .
Here's mine:
Fretless Roscoe SKB3006. Pictures taken at the Roscoe shop.
This thing is great.

........are you serious right now with that setup???? That is my dream amp rig....TD-1 with an IP112 and an EX or HT112. Unreal.

Is that a satin finish on that F?

And where's the Berg badges on the front of the cabs????? Use them with Pride my friend. Best cabs out there...especially that IP.

I thought you might like it ;) I have seen and read most of your posts found throughout my TB research, that led to eventual purchase of my Bergies AND TD-1.

I am constantly blown away by the rig, and have a hard time playing without it now. Totally spoiled... I know :p I got the HT (not ex) as an extention cab, so when I split the two up, I still have a tweeter to work with. My ministack split in two consists of the IP112/TD-1 and HT112/AI Clarus. The IP/TD-1 makes my Clarus rig sound like a toy... and the Clarus rig makes my old gear sound like a toy. Go figure :D

My F is primed with an epoxy sealant and finished with 8 coats of hand rubbed oil. I love the feel of WOOD under my hands, not poly or nitro etc. It turned out great, and I owe the crew at F bass many thanks!

About the decals on my bergies... just after I received my cabs from Club Bass (great bunch of guys) the decal on my HT fell right off! I the removed th other thinking it was next, but it was put on with a different, better ahesive ?!?. Anyhow, I have since glued them back on for keeps... with some PL Premium. ;)

Ah....well, looks like you beat me to the creme de la creme of bass tone.....one day! So glad to hear that you're enjoying it. Play it in good health my friend!

Cheers.
Andy.

Andy , when you get your hands on a TD-1 (which I highly reccomend you do as soon as possible:p), Let me know, because no TD-1 is complete without one of my cusom TD-1 covers... as seen here.

$60 + Shipping... Tombowlus and I are the only owners as of yet!

Thanks,

Pat

Oh damn!!! I remember that thread! Very, very cool. I thought that was a great idea! It'll be quite some time before I get a TD-1...I'm really digging my Markbass amp through the Berg 112's for now. I'm looking at a custom 6er next before anything else. However, I'll keep that in mind for sure.

edit: I think that cover and a nice custom Mooradian bag would be a great compliment to the TD-1 for carrying it around.
