'61 fender

Whatever..... it's an old, ugly bass... big whoop.

I'll tell you what... since I'm such a nice, caring individual... I'll let you send that beastly thing to me so you don't have to look at it anymore.






In all seriousness, I went to the Chicago Music Exchange today... looked at tons of awesome, overpriced, vintage P basses... and that thing trumps them all... amazing... nice score.
 
Looks legit from what I can see (clay dots, PG) just like mh 62. Most likely a refin though. Can't tell about the PU's - still...Great score!

I snagged a 1962 P back in April for a killer deal too...I know the feeling. Right place, right time.

I think of it this way...that bass found it's way right into your hands for a reason - now go play the crap out of it!!!
