61 Refin...what color?

With your relic creamy white guard you're good with any custom colour other than Olympic White.
If you're not married to the guard I'd opt for a period correct looking mint guard - assuming it isn't mint already. A pic would be nice.

I like all the custom colours, I don't think there's a bad choice in the bunch. A greened out LPB like the 66 in my avatar would be very cool, or Sherwood… or Fiesta… or Dakota Red, or… you get the idea ;-)
With my '62 P I went with Sonic Blue and a repro mint guard, I think it looks great. I would have been happy with any of them, though Shoreline Gold is admittedly at the bottom of my faves list.

Oly white that is really from '61 would not even be remotely Oly White today. If you wanted it to look like it was originally Oly White, I think it would have to be painted more like a butterscotch color today.

I would go Shoreline Gold or Lake Placid Blue. I had my '66 restored in Shoreline Gold and it looked awesome! I did not have it reliced, though. The neck was all original but was in near-mint condition. With shiny new paint, it still overall looked great.

Do you know what the original color is?? I'd roll with that or Fiesta Red. OR, if you are torn between 2 colors and doing a relic job you can always do color over color.

Shoreline Gold over Fiesta Red, LPB over Shoreine Gold

EDIT: Just saw it was OG Sunburst. My bad.
