i used to write this number on all kinds of stuff when i was a kid.
i also learned that numbers in dreams appear upside down and backwards so 666 would actually be 999. but nine nine nine just doesn't have the same ring to it.

i still laugh when i see 666 though. i really haven't grown up that much.

The actual mark of the beast is 666.6666666666.... Since they weren't great with real numbers back then they shortened it to 666. It really should have been rounded up to 667.
