8" combo with di?

Are there any 8" combo's with a di out?

Alternatively what are some good 8" cabs/tiny 10" cabs
(Besides crazy 8s and bareface)
I think there are some excellent Markbass combos, not sure which has a single 8" friver. The one I have has two 6" drivers and an excellent sounding DI.

As to single 8" cabs, have LDS (Low Down Sound - Don Oatman) build you something. Superb cabs at very reasonable prices, all custom designed/built for your own needs.

If you can find a used Shuttle 3.0-8T, that's another option but they are quite coveted on the used market from what I have seen.

In general 8" combos with a full feature set (ie. not a practice amp) are not very common because of the cost associated with an 8" driver that's robust enough and has suitable properties for bass guitar. There are some decent drivers available, but they are not common or cheap.

The Markbass Micromark 801 has XLR direct out. They are pretty pricey, but I’ve played through them in-store a few times with different basses and they sound very good. A lot of great reviews for the 801 also.

Of course I also agree with agedhorse that the Genz Benz Shuttle 3.0-8T is awesome (and, no, mine’s not for sale). ;)
