'89 Fender Precision Plus vs. Peavey Cirrus Walnut USA

I don't have much experience with the Peavey but the P-Plus is a keeper. They're great sounding basses with good looks, relatively hard to find these days and starting to go up in value. I purchased a mint one a couple of years ago and it's gone up in value since then. Some of the color combos on the P-Pluses are very rare as well. As a fender it will always have an inherent value and because it's one of the very few fender basses that used a different body shape it might be more collectable in the long run than a normal Fender pbass from the same era. Again, I don't know much about Peavey but I suspect in the long run it will be treated much like one of the Japan built Fenders. Considered a solid playing and looking bass but not really gaining much in value of the years.
