A comfortable strap

Comfort Strapps do rule. ;)
+1 for Comfort Strapp, nicely padded, wide and have a bit of a bungee effect to them.
Great!
A wide leather strap still kills my shoulder. Comfort Strapp's do not. Love em.
+1 for Comfort Strapss.
Another vote for Comfort strapp

Well, I see my work here is done...

I use the "Y" strap by Michele Morin.

It hooks over both shoulders, which evenly distributes the weight of the bass. Let's me wear a bass for hours with no stress. I've used it for many years - can't think of how I could live without it. Before I endured pain from overburdening one shoulder. No more! Check it out...

The Comfort Strapp. I got my first on in 1997. Before that I'd managed a guitar store and was on an endless quest to find the right strap. After that I still would try some (I had that goofy D'Addario "Air Strap", and I tried Fender's version of the neoprene strap that Neotech makes) and nothing works as well as the real Comfort Strapp.

I have a milk crate full of straps, thick leather, wide leather with sheep-skin padding, wide ones without padding, neoprene, one cool looking one with a six-inch wide pad, Levy's, etc. I only use Comfort Strapps on my basses and have three of them.

As far as adjust-ability goes, this is what I did. For my heavy 8-String I have a 4-inch wide Italia strap. I bought two sets of Strap-locks and installed three of the males on the strap's tail. This gives me a choice of three lengths at the touch of a button! I used a leather punch for the two additional holes that were necessary for the Strap-locks. Of course you can custom space to your own liking, too!

Just a thought.

Sorry about the size, I kicked the PhotoBucket a while ago.
