We have a walk in closet. The narrow side just has two gigantic racks of shoes. When I talk about us needing to free up some space her response is "but I need them!" She lets me buy musical instruments so I can't complain too much.Mine would replace the storage space with MORE SHOES.
Wait.... are you a bass player or guitar player?
I just read 2 pages about a man who's wife threw away a cardboard box.
Sometimes a guy wants to keep his empty speaker driver boxes, and sometimes the wife gets a wild hair to cut up a bunch of "trash."
Explain to me how empty cardboard boxes aren't trash again?
If you've ever put anything in a cardboard box, or purchased anything in a cardboard box, or noticed that many items come in cardboard boxes, then you already grasp the concept of the usefulness of an empty cardboard box. There are even entire businesses devoted to the making and selling of empty cardboard boxes.
If you get pissed at your wife for cutting up a cardboard box, I really feel sorry for her!
Explain to me how empty cardboard boxes aren't trash again?
I didn't get pissed. I just thought it was one of those classic domestic misunderstandings where something minor ends up mattering to one of the couple.
What is starting to piss me off is the way so many members are failing to take the thread in the intended spirit and are choosing to turn this into a half-assed referendum on my character.
