My bass rig. A very rare 37lb 300 watt tube amplifier. 8 EL34s, 3 12AX7, 2 12AT7s.
I almost forget that I used to haul this thing around. For a while it was my only cabinet.
I had one of these, they are GREAT amps! Getting rid of it was not one of my prouder moments :-(

I was looking at those a little while back, how are these for bass? Good practice amp?

Yes! And now im hunting for the even more rare VB-MA. Noone seems to have one to sell though.
Love my VB-3. John Fields (one of the original engineers of the amp) and I sleuthed for about a month and we fixed the noisy XLR DI out. Turns out it was a 5 min fix.
Really want the VB-MA for the blend knob, and the Peavey history really. Looks like Ill be waiting a long time before another decides to show up for sale sadly.
Various rigs thru the years...I'll tell you that that Line 6 with the 410XLT as an extension cabinet kicked butt!
