I guess I don't feel so bad now...Lemmy's Hawkwind era gearView attachment 4572286 View attachment 4572287
Yes! And now im hunting for the even more rare VB-MA. Noone seems to have one to sell though.
Love my VB-3. John Fields (one of the original engineers of the amp) and I sleuthed for about a month and we fixed the noisy XLR DI out. Turns out it was a 5 min fix.
Really want the VB-MA for the blend knob, and the Peavey history really. Looks like Ill be waiting a long time before another decides to show up for sale sadly.

You’ll find one eventually, I have seen them on the used market from time to time. Believe it or not, Guitar Center is a surprising source for rate gear LOL.
I bought my last VB-3’s from there.
In the first pic did that rig cause the ceiling to collapse? It's understandable.
First Led Zeppelin tour opening for the Who I saw both JPJ and Entwistle use four of those Ric 2x15 cabs with Hiwatt heads each. They appeared to have JBLs.A friend used to have a SUNN 2000s cabinet that someone defaced by stencilling "J H Exp" all over it.
Amazing cab. Air from the port would blow out a lit match.
I always wanted one, settled for a 200s.

As far as looks go, these are right up there...
Just a few? Why wouldn’t you have more?

I'll bet you could have one built.I wish they still made rack tuners. I think there’s still a place for them. A high quality tuner with a really clean pass through. Foot switchable. Silent when engaged. Doesn’t even have to be a full rack. Half rack would be fine. Doesn’t have to be a fancy display. I just need to be able to see it in the dark. And the manufacturer should throw in a 1’ high quality cable. Runs on some kind of lithium battery that I can charge through USB with mega hours of standby time. (I don’t want more things to have to plug in)
Is it just me?

Hey. It's a world full of parts...
I've got a power supply for my little board a guy built for me using an old router case. It's as big as a bus, relatively speaking, lol, but it's just fun for what it is.I like that idea. It never occurred to me. Hmmm. Thanks…
Not at all!Mr.: you say that like it's a bad thing...
