A pretty clear message... right?

Oh, and get this- my wife wants me to teach her to play a little, but she wants a short scale, so I guess I have a reason to buy one of those! This would also work for my kids!
The truth comes out! She wants the 7 bass stand to accommodate the basses SHE wants to buy!

One time, I asked my wife what she wanted for Christmas, and she said "a divorce".

I told her that I wasn't planning on spending that much this year.

Edit: I bought her a brand new snow shovel instead. She was so happy, she actually cried when I gave it to her.

Edit # 2: I wonder what she's up to these days. Haven't heard from her in a few years.

Edit # 3: I can now buy any bass, guitar, amp, piano, organ car, truck, beer, whiskey, or whatever I want.

That is a great wife. The best my wife does regarding my instruments is NOT to roll her eyes when I walk in with a new one.

Regarding a Short Scale bass - Go look at the Squier VM Jaguar SS - it is far too good for the price. Looks good, plays easy and sounds huge. Just got one and can't keep my hands off it. And it is clear she bought the rack leaving a space for HER bass.

So my wife bought me one of those long instrument stands that holds up to 7 basses for Christmas. The only problem is, I only have three basses. Do you think this is her way of telling me I need to go buy 4 more basses? I think so.
to me that is a hint you are getting 4 more basses for X-mas or you have the green light to buy 4 more basses either way it will be a merry X-mas for you
