A question for EBS Fafner users

And, just to clear up any confusion, I'll restate my experience:

When I have the drive set at *four* and the master set just below *one*, the perceived output is approximately the same as when the drive is set at *zero* and the master is a little above *one*.

Decreasing the drive still decreases the perceived output, just not as much as you experience.

I also did a recheck and it seems to be less wors then I thought. The difference in volume (using drive or not) is about 1 dash. Except when it is set to zero, then it seems lot more.

Zen, yes that makes sense to me. When using a preamp the bypass could be very usefull.
