I stumbled across this and thought it was a pretty interesting design concept on what would otherwise be an ordinary Steinberger.

It would be beyond uncomfortable to play. I wouldn't buy one. That said, the scope is kinda cool.

IMO, it's just plain silly. but i suppose that some people like silly.
That's pretty much what I think too. I appreciate it for it's artistic quality.
It's not something I'd buy to play. If I was a collector, then I'd consider buying it for it's oddity, and if I did, I'd place it on one of the walls in the studio in a glass encased gun rack similar to this:
