A very Geddy Thanksgiving.

Flew from San Diego to Seattle to see the show. We we’re able to go backstage and Geddy signed our books.
My 2nd encounter with Dirk but my wife’s first. It made her Thanksgiving weekend.

Get well quick. I attended Geddy’s talk the other night here in Montreal and received a copy of his book. Looking forward to reading it (and I’m not even a Rush fan ).
Me too! I thought you looked familiar! ;) Then I got lost in the rain and cold for a couple of hours! My phone died :rollno: Luckily I was able to keep Geddy's book and program dry but that was about it! It was a VERY soggy drive home to Vermont. I'm on chapter 6 now.
Sorry to derail!
Happy Holidays All,
Brent

Binge watched the new series on Paramount+ this afternoon. I enjoyed it, was entertaining, a bit of good bass stuff in there-including Ged playing the Bass Of Doom, but focused more on what the interview subjects do outside of music. Almost wish they went even more in depth, each episode was only 20 minutes. I hope they do another season!
Yes the show was great! I was a little disappointed that the episodes were only twenty minutes as well but still really great! Krist Novoselic was a kook! :)

Egos of some musicians/ bands can be quite disheartening.
I have always preferred the love and camaraderie I generally experienced on tour.
Exactly.
Although I don't find any of the guys in Rush have an ego issue, quite the opposite in fact.
It's one of the qualities, along with their musicianship obviously, that has kept me a lifelong fan.
I've no time or tolerance for fools who take themselves too seriously.
