A Very Sensitive Subject Among Men

Man - it was rough last night. Stuffy, hot. My back was sweating alot too. Hope this heat wave doesn't last long.

We try not to run our a/c too much to keep our electricity bill down, but its been on since last Thursday.

Its actually not the heat thats sucking, these arent crazy temps for this time of year, but the humidity has been through the roof!

Enough junk talk, let's start on boob sweat!

You dont run the motorboat on dry land. :p

...going commando, I haven't had ball sweat in years that wasn't the direct result of working out/running/etc. I think it's got something to do with keeping a proper air flow around your manliness, and underwear restrict said air flow...

Should have been a carpenter. Nail on the head and all that.

Before I met wifey I didn't own any skivvies and never had any problems with the sweaty subject at hand unless it was due to extraordinary exertion. When wifey asked me to wear drawers I did it to please her and not long after starting this practice I noticed a light slickness occasionally without the exertion but nothing to write home about.

Fast forward to getting gimped up and gaining a wad of weight and now it's just a part of my life. Not bad enough to need a drying agent, but enough that the smell is noticeable at night when I disrobe for a shower.

IME, nut sweat is produced as required for taint lube to avoid chapping of overly large thigh tops when their rubbing together produces enough heat to cause chapping without a little slickum to lube things up.

I am a runner so I have a bit of experience with chafing issues. For thighs and other chafing try this stuff called Body Glide. They make a few different versions (even one just for HER).

If you are a girl please leave this thread, as the following subject is very delicate and embarrassing to us men.

The past few years I've noticed that I keep developing holes in my pants, underneath the crotch area--basically at the very center of my pants bottom. I did not know how or why this was happening but I imagined it may have something to do with my inclination towards sitting on rough surfaces; cement steps, and so on...

Recently I discovered why they sell talcum powder in the men's section of the drugstore. I had always wondered about this and just imagined it had something to do with shaving--part of some sort of old fashioned shaving regimen for old men.

Well, as it turns out, men's talc (as opposed to shaving talc) is actually meant to be used as an absorbent, in order to keep your crotch area dry.

I came home from a walk the other day and discovered that there was a large sweat stain on my pants right at the bottom of my crotch, right where I've been developing these holes, so I finally know where this problem is coming from: the "Man Sweats!"

I bought some Johnson's Baby Powder because I couldn't find anything else at my local shop and I used it today for the first time. Unsure of how to apply it, I poured it onto my hands rubbed them together and then rubbed it onto the area. Well, it didn't work and it also made a bit of a mess. I came home from my evening constitutional to find my pants wet exactly where I had applied the powder.

I come to you, brothers, seeking advice. How does one apply the powder for best results, and what other advice can you offer a sufferer of the Man Sweats?

Thanks in advance.

You have two issues.
Pants that are wearing down in the crotch area and sweaty crotch zone.

Stop sitting on rough surfaces that can wear away at pants.

You can wear boxers to allow more air flow. You can apply baby powder to hand and then rub it on the crotch, and powder your boxers. It doesn't prevent sweating, just keeps you a bit dry from regular sweatiness.
If you are in 95+ degree weather with 90+% humidity, you are going to drench your nuts off and there is no amount of baby powder that is going to stop it.

This thread just made my day that much better.

Any powder is fine, if you are sensitive I'd suggest avoiding those with fragrance additives, and maybe stick with pure talcum powder.
If you can't find it at the store, try a beauty supply chain like Sally's, they carry it for barbers to use on the neck after a fresh shave.
Good stuff. All of them wear off quick, but they still seem to leave a nice silky sheen that keeps the friction limited.
As far as application. Just put it on, don't be shy.
The excess is GREAT to rub your feet in and get a little In-between your toes. Then vacuum if necessary.

If sweating is really a big deal, maybe try a 'spray' deodorant with anti-persperant.
Again, if you're sensitive, avoid the fragrant types.
These won't eliminate sweating but they definitely help.
Don't be afraid to use the women's spray deodorant, theirs tend to work better anyway.

As far as the pants holes, try a looser pants size.
Try to not squat, sit, or stretch so much that you're constantly pulling on that area.

Otherwise, quit being cheap and just throw the damn things out, & buy new pants, & underwear. There's no rule saying you must get years and years out of your clothing.
Toss the vented stuff, & get some new stuff.

May your pants last longer, and your balls sweat less.
Good luck!
