Just a quick question as I am on the verge of buying a bass.
I found a Fender American Professional P for 1300 EUR and managed to bargain it down to 1100 (+ shipping). It's my first time buying through Reverb and I want to make sure I'm not making a mistake. See the bass in the link below.
The guy has 23 five star reviews and his communication is quick and clear. The only thing is, I asked him how come he is selling a brand new bass for much cheaper (500 EUR less) than most places, and he said it's because he's not an official Fender dealer. I've asked him how he got the bass and I'm still waiting for an answer.
In the meantime, I wanted to ask what y'all think of this and whether it seems fishy at all? As I mentioned before, this is my first time using Reverb, so I'm not sure whether I'm overlooking anything.
PS The bass is in France and I'm in the Netherlands (in case that's of any use).
