my church gave me 2 acoustic foam columns. i think they are bass traps and i have no idea what company made them. they come apart in the middle and it looks like i can hook them together or hang them on a wall.

how much are they worth?

Probably not much.
If they took-em down anyway, you may be doing them a favor by hauling them off. I've seen several ads for used room treatments and they dont seem to hold their value very well.
(although they may very well help your rooms acoustics)

I was once paid $100 by a radio station to haul off a huge pile of old acoustic treatment panel's they'd recently replaced with new ones.
