Advice on building a '50 Precision Replica please

Like... wow... again guys: thank you so much for your help and input, that's just great.
There's a lot of love for the Seymour Duncans, and I can understand that, because I put a set of SPB1's in my last self-designed and self built project, and they do pack a punch. Because of that, I wanted to experience a different manufacturer, but in light of the amount of recommendations, I may have to reassess my pick up choice.
I also take on board the point about the '51 to '54 bodies being more uncomfortable... I have to confess to a heinous crime here: Not only do I prefer the contoured bodies, but I also file and sand both the upper rear bout contour (by the bridge), and the 'belly' contour to the rear, to make them even more pronounced and comfortable.
I also note the difference rightly pointed out by a couple of you: I was wrong to quote a 'Vibe' bridge, as that's not the old-style x2 saddle affair. I have taken your advice and ordered a standard Squier bridge from Ebay - thanks again (T-34).
I've already got a body to chip into, but I've also taken on board the multiple recommendations for Warmoth, and have ordered a custom built neck today. I might also have to take the advice of BossOnBass and order that spare '51... darn it, that's a FOURTH project I'm going to have to start now! Also, your recommendation of the Stellartone control looks spot on! I've searched the video clips on YouTube and they sound spot on. Thanks, I've ordered on for delivery to the UK, can't wait to try it.
@The BRain: that relic P-Bass looks awesome - as does the Wilkinson bridge, I've checked them out, but they seem to have the Wilkinson logo stamped into them... but that's great inspiration, as I'm beginning to think Tobacco Burst too.
Thanks also to Khutch for the Sting recommendation: I also thought of doing this... to save a lot of time, it would be better to slap pick ups in a second hand Sting bass, but I totally agree with 2meterbassman: The logo on the 12th fret inlays spoil it (I had no idea about the non-period extra rout under the pick guard).

I've tried every single coil p bass pickup available. my favorite is the Seymour Duncan stacked on e out of the custom shop. my second favorite is fralin's side by side single coil.

As for the rounded/square heel issue. A rounded heel will fit into a square neckpocket (so a standard P-neck will fit in a '51 P-body), but not the other way 'round.

I had a couple of basses with two saddle bridges way back when, and the intonation seemed pretty spot on with them. Besides, it seems the OP is more concerned bout authenticity than a minor intonation issue, which may or may not be all that obvious anyway.
You should check Wilkinson parts, he's an UK guitar/bass part builder. I recently bought a set of elephant ear tuners for my build, the quality is great.
He also makes vintage parts.

I think that's the link to a catalogue, he has no website that I know of. In the UK you should be able to buy them pretty easily, Wilkinson is english.
