Advice to young folk

I am young(ish) so, perhaps my opinion does not matter as much.
DO NOT GET MARRIED when you are under the age of 30.. Seriously, you are missing sooooo much if you do that.
I am 28 and this is the greatest time of my life, if I was married, none of this would be happening. Still plenty of time to start a family and retire, no need to rush anything.

Don't listen to people* who lecture to you all the time. They're often trying to convince themselves that they're right.

Take a tip from Columbo. 
Ask simple straight foward questions then let people talk. You can learn a lot that way. If someone has a weakness of a flaw we don't need to point it out they will do it themselves. If that happens just continue to listen, never stop someone when they are on a roll. When they are done, don't argue they have done your work for you.

Love conquers all things but it can take a really long time. It is a good way to develop patience.
Engage in physical activities. Use it or lose it.
Don't drink sodas or other sugary drinks.
The moment you think you need to teach someone a lesson pull back and pause. Ask yourself "Why am I doing this? What do I hope to achieve? Is that really going to happen?
Being right isn't all it's made out to be . Someone who is always right can end up being left (alone)
Seldom yell in anger or use profanity. That way when you do it will have a much greater impact.

Don't get married or have children expecting that to solve all your issues. If you have issues (and we all do) this will really bring them out.
"You are what you eat" applies to mind as well as body.
