Advice to young folk

Live fast, break the rules, and do the dangerous things - but be smart about all of them.

Everyone dies with things left undone - keep that number as low as possible.

At least once, love a man/woman twice your age - you will be surprised what you will learn.

People suck - keep your expectations as low as possible and you will constantly be impressed :)

Peace,
Greg

If you're going through hell, keep going.

Try to be a little kinder.

If you think you can, you're right. If you think you can't, you're right.

Make a real effort to figure out what you do want. Likewise, figure out what you don't want.

Your time is precious; spend it with people that you consider to be admirable or successful.

What I know about women:

1. When you go out with your wife/girlfriend/significant other and she points something out and says "isn't that nice?" Go back the next day and buy that item. Give it to her at her birthday or christmas. You will score major points for "being so thoughtful and remembering." Also, keep a few "emergency" gifts around for unexpected events.

2. Women's clothing sizes are different at different stores. Don't buy her clothes. ever.

3. Don't buy her flowers when you would be expected to (birthdays, anniversaries, etc); do it on a random Wednesday. Those $20 flowers will be worth guaranteed action.

4. Your anniversary? Her birthday? Put an annual recurring item in your phone's calendar a week before to make sure you bought a gift, and the night before to remind yourself, and the day of so you really don't forget. Seriously. DON'T forget.

I use an old school analog calendar and every New Year transfer the data
