Age-related P-bass problem

My serious answer would be to replace the bridge. Gotoh 201 is cool but the thicker plate might prevent you from lowering your strings enough. Maybe.

Leo Fender anticipated this, hence the metal ashtray bridge cover to protect cardigans. You could always retrofit your bass with one of those
I'm sure you know this would solve the problem, but I wasn't sure if you P is without bridge cover by choice, or was just purchased that way.

Nearly all my basses have that same intonation placement. About as normal as they come.

However, REMOVABLE caulk is incredible stuff. It's my "secret weapon" that I've used for years for many non-conventional applications. Dap makes one called Seal & Peal, Red Devil's called Zip Away.
It may do the trick for your bridge issue - just don't apply it right out of the tube - let a blob set up for a few hours, than you can actually shape it with your fingers and apply it.
I would NOT recommend silicone for this (or for most other things people use it for - but that's a whole other thing)

This, but my personal favorite is the Hipshot a style bridge.
Interesting. All of my basses have always needed the saddles on the thicker stings moved closer to the back end of the bridge to get proper intonation.
Whatever works for you is cool.
Here's a novel thought... why not just get a Jazz Bass Bridge cover (they aren't that expensive) and.... wait for it... put it on your bass! Some Jazz Bass players do leave them on their basses, and no one will think less of you if you do it, too...
