Aguilar AG500 v2 feet

Hi there...I have an Aguilar AG500 (v2) that I really love but the tiny feet do not clear the handle on my GR 210 cabinet well and unless it sits just right, wobbles and vibrates when I play.

Has anyone found and installed replacement feet that will raise the amp about a quarter to half inch higher than where it sits now? Also, I've tried to remove the feet but the screw just seems to spin. Are the feet glued on?

Question has been asked of Aguilar but no response yet.

The original has the same feet I’m guessing, I replaced mine for the same reason when I got mine two of the feet were loose.They use a small machine screw with a tiny nut inside, you have to take it apart,one of mine actually fell off before I opened it up, I bought taller feet and used loctite when put back together.

I took the feet off and used a hunk of a thin yoga mat on top of my amp to keep its from rattling off.

My Eden WT550 had the little glue on feet that were just over an 1/8th of an inch thick. I had a bunch of these tall screw on feet and double back taped them on the Eden. So far working great. Since it sounds like the Aguilar has screw on feet, these might be your answer. You can get them on Amazon pretty cheap.

Make sure the screws don't protrude too far into the chassis of the amp.

A safer solution would be to fabricate an adapter platform that goes between the amp and cab. More stuff to carry, but no worries about ganking a nice amp.

Good point...I actually bought a relatively inexpensive neoprene pad that seems to work but it's thick. Maybe a mouse pad would work better.

Just my 2 cents. If you keep the rubber feet but add spacers between the feet & amp to
to compensate for the extra height needed then get longer screws if you have clearance inside the amp.
BTW I recently tried several GR cabs at a dealer. wow, they are light. Lifted a 4x10 cab with 2 fingers.
