Aguilar gs12 cabs ????

I am torn between my 2 GS112s and my Berg NV215! The Aguilars have amazing dispersion and projection from in front of them, right out to the dance floor to the back of the room- very even. I use mine sideways because I need the width for the Reeves head. But I have a homemade Decoupling pad (like an Auralex Great Gramma) that brings them up 4"

I really like that reeves amp..at one time I was looking at the 400 model..pricey but top of the line..

I have 2 GS112's along with a Tone Hammer 500. I couldn't be happier.

I suffer major GAS for basses, effects and even amplifiers but I have not had any thought of replacing the Aggies!

What’s the decoupling pads like , are they worth it sonically? ...nice set up

These cabs are awesome! I have a GS112 and a GS112NT (no tweeter). I had them on the TB classifieds for a while as I was looking to downsize (don't really play out any longer), however, they sound so good that I've decided to keep them.

Anyway, congrats on the purchase. These cabs don't come up for sale very often any longer (especially a pair).

If you ever change your mind and decide to sell the NT, let me know. I'd like to get one to match my GS112.

Both of my GS cabs have tweeters, but I have one turned off to act as an NT cab. One tweeter set to 50% is fine for the style of music I play.
These are the settings I use on my Tone Hammer 500 with my passive Lakland Skyline DJ4 bass when I'm practicing. Since I haven't played in a band situation in years. This setup is way overkill for me. BTW, how old are you guys? I'm 66. Played in many local rock bands since the early 70's. Today, I just jam with my old friends every once in a while.

I got mine with my tonehammer 500 head on a killer deal. Not sure why they stopped making them? I haven’t tried the DB cabs though. I can’t find much Aguilar stuff here in Denver. I want an aggy 412 but my 2 112 cabs keep up with my full rock n roll band just fine until the day the 412 comes around. I do love how portable they are though!
