Aguilar owners, which cabs do you use?

I use mainly Fender Bassman Pro Neo 115 cabs with my Tone Hammer 500. Sometimes a Bergantino AE410 or NV412 or 215

I've been happy with my TH500 and GK NeoII 112 x 2.
Versatile tone, lots of punch and light modular options.
Am I 100% thrilled and done with head and cab GAS? ummm no.
Hence the audition... Also pictured a borrowed AK Hathor 1505 and Kustom KXB500.

I only used the TH500 with my two GK Neo 112 II's on one occasion at a practice (right after I got the amp) and it seemed okay, but didn't blow me away. Based on your experience I am going to give it another try now that I've had more time and experience with dialing in the EQ on that head. I really like both the TH pedal and amp versatility, but they take some time to get to know and understand, especially amp.

I find that a compressor (smoothie) really helps to shape the tone and bring some additional life to the TH500/GK rig.
Also, not sure if you've tried vertical vs. horizontal stack comparisons but this seems to greatly affect cabinet response for me.
vertical stack = more high end, sizzle, presence
horizontal stack = more low punch, authority.

I almost always stack the GK's horizontally unless stage volume is huge concern and then added height helps. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips! My Diamond compressor should give me something close to what you described. My only other compressor is the Aguilar TLC which does a little less to fill out tone (it's more transparent), at least to my ear.

I use a horizontal stack virtually all the time unless, as you mentioned, stage space is tight. I like that fuller, deeper tone as opposed to something with a crispy high end. Of course that probably goes without saying since I own a TH500.
