ale or lager

Ales, generally, because making lager takes more time. For cooler days, I go for a dark stout - often an Imperial Stout. Sunny days is time for the blonde belgian-style ale or spiced rye ales.

+1 on that. Im kind of psyched to get out of my IPA and hefe phase and settle in for a long winter of stouts. I suggest anybody within driving range come out this march for Kate the Great Imperial Stout from Portsmouth Brewery. This past one was amazing. They ran out of it in two days.
