Invalid Link Removed. The blood spatter is a bit OTT for my liking, but then again I'm in my mid-20's and enjoy death metal on a purely novel level these days. Good thing it comes in plain ol' black, though.

Alex Webster's New Signature Spector

Ouch! Looks like someones trapped in the '80s. I do kind of dig the red crown inlay, but the blood splatter looks way too dated to me.
The splatter is optional, which is good because that's a good lookin' bass otherwise.
I have a question though, since when has Alex played Spector? I thought he used Modulus.

I think it would be cool to drop the blood splatter, but keep the red inlays, and ooh ooh ooh! matching red hardware?! Me thinks muy muy sexy! Does anyone know of a company that make specialty hardware like that?
...I was under the impression he'd always used a Spector. Him playing a Modulus is news to me.
Of course, if I'm wrong, then that doesn't surprise me. Since seeing Dean make a John Entwistle signature bass, I feel like I've seen everything.

The problem I have with most "spattered blood" finishes is that the red they usually use is way too bright. It would look cooler, to me, if it was actually blood colored, or the color of dried blood.
Still, the plain black one would be awesome if I was into Spectors.

you can also get it withOUT the blood. the neck also different from other euros and the fretboard is ebony.
TBs own JPSBassist designed the blood graphic.

The bass looks badass! Mean, aggressive, badass! The blood looks a bit tacky to me, but I guess it goes with the theme. Other than that, it's one of the coolest Spectors I've ever seen - it has written "metal" allover it

The blood spatter looks a little darker on the image posted here. I kinda like it. It's got some nice features too, I bet it sounds great!

No worries. I wasn't offended. Honestly... it's not my thing either. But as a graphic artist I get hired to design all sorts of stuff sometimes.
And this sort of over the top stuff is what Cannibal-C is all about. It's all good fun.
I decided to have some fun with the bass while I had it to shoot photos of and jumped in for a few. Why not? Christian (DieChris) will tell you that I'm not a death metal guy. So the photo is funny as all-get-out to me.
The bass sounds amazing. The EMG Tone Circuit and dual EMG DC humbuckers make it sound sharp, clean and clear. The Ebony fingerboard is a little brighter and the neck profile is considerably/noticably thinner (front to back). This neck is FAST. Much faster than the typical Euro5LX.
In all it's an outstanding bass. And it was designed for Alex with heavy, heavy input from Alex. And word is that he's all SPECTOR now. No more Modulus.
He's a really cool guy. Very nice, pleasant, and passionate about what he does. I was honored to get to design this bass for him.
Blood paint or just gloss black... this is a great metal bass for anyone who wants a really fast neck to play those fast riffs on.
Im tossing up between this and a modulus, the only thing i dont really like bout the spector is the difficulty to access the very highest frets, and the thick neck, but seeing as this one will have a slim neck i could once again have a gas battle on my hands
Finally, a machine I can play Addicted To Vaginal Skin on.

Oh, I know. Hence why I said that about the plain black one. The second picture does make the graphic look cooler, not as bright.
