All black bass

How many folks here own all black basses? I'm talking body, pick guard, and hardware. I seem to have a morbid desire to own an all black bass. Maple fretboards are fine on it however but Ebony would just seal the deal. If you have one or more please post pics.

Ok, here it is. This is a wonderful instrument, #19 of those Nino Valenti has built. I received it used from Fretless5erFan strung EADGC with TI flats. I liked it so much that way, that I have kept it strung and tuned the same way—though I have put black tape wounds on it (once). Honestly, it sounds better with TI flats. The pickups are Nordy Fatstacks, and the pre is an Aguilar OBP-3. The fingerboard is ebony.

Im amazed by that Valenti bass every time i see it.

Same here!
I knew it was coming, and was waiting eagerly! :D

Thanks for the kind words about my baby. I am just the vessel for it. Nino has built several astonishing black basses, and I don't think they have all shown up on his archives. In any case, the "Stealth Valenti #19," as it has been called is actually a really useful instrument, though I should confess that once it scared a folk artist in the studio so much that he required me to record everything with upright from then on—really! :D

I just recently bought this baby:

Basslab Soul V, monocoque composite shell construction from end to end.

I also used to have an all-black custom fretless P bass by Mike Dolan, that got a lot of love whenever I showed pics of it, especially because the black ebony fingerboard had a glassy high-gloss coating. :)
