All Female rock band needs easy covers

Hootchie Cootchie Man (change lyrics to suit)

She - Green Day (fun, easy bass line)

Get Back - Beatles

Fight For Your Right To Party - Beastie Boys

Bust A Move - Young MC (Bass line is easy/intermediate... it doesn't work if the drums and bass don't groove. Best to make it your own).

Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Queen (Freddie Mercury learned how to play guitar on this song. Pretty easy. Guitar solo, overdubbed by Brian May, is killer. Not to difficult at all).

I think I covered all the bases here: Punk, classic rock, party songs.

I've often thought about a female vocalist covering "Love Stinks" in a low sultry voice and a pouty attitude. It would put a completely different spin on the tune. It would be easy, too. Three chords, four max.

We need 15 more songs to be able to go play out. We are wanting to add some really easy ones to our setlist so we can get out faster. My drummer has been drumming for 30 years. So we need to find something that is easy for guitar and bass. It doesn't have to be girly either. We cover AC/DC, Judas Priest, Joan Jett, Pat Benetar, 38 Special, Def Leppard, Hole. You can see our set list at Link Removed if your really interested. But we are struggling with coming up with some easy ones to add quickly. Got any ideas for us??

I am so sorry to disappoint you but I am currently involved with someone....don't you think this is inappropriate behavior for talk bass?

Ha! very funny :D
etoncrow, that was a really cheap trick you just pulled!

For hair bands I suggest:
Ratt - Wanted Man (woman), Round And Round
Dokken - Breaking The Chains (super easy guitar solo)
Def Leppard - Photograph, Foolin'
Poison - Nothin' But A Good Time
Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name, Bad Medicine
Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane, Big City Nights
Guns 'N Roses - Mr. Brownstone, Welcome To The Jungle, Paradise City
Lita Ford - Kiss Me Deadly
Motley Crue - Girls, Girls, Girls

For all-purpose rock from the 80's and some 90's:
The Cars - Moving In Stereo, Best Friend's Girl
Bush - Machinehead
Any Weezer songs
Judas Priest - Headin' Out To The Highway, Breakin' The Law
Soundgarden - Rusty Cage, Outshined
Van Halen - Panama
Billy Idol - White Wedding, Dancing With Myself, Rebel Yell
Pat Benatar - Hit Me With Your Best Shot, Heartbreaker
B52's - Love Shack
Gary Numan/Fear Factory - Cars
Devo - Whip It
Go-Go's - We Got The Beat
Alannah Myles - Black Velvet
Joan Jett - any songs will work

Another Aerosmith cover Big 10 inch record. I rewrote the lyrics to be sung by a female vocalist for another project a while ago. PM me if you want a copy of it

Big 10 Inch Record by Aerosmith is a cover version anyway. Check out the original by Bull Moose Jackson. It has more of a big band swing style which could easily be done with a female perspective.
