All maple basses.

Here’s my Maple Glo Ric. All maple except for the walnut wings on the headstock, walnut center strip, and rosewood board. Lots of clear tone and sustain

Generally a brighter tone. I had an old BC Rich Eagle that was all maple, great sounding bass but man was heavy! Currently I have a 1979 Kramer which has a maple body and maple stringers on the back of the neck. I love this bass, the bright tone cut through the mix better than any of my other basses and sounds great no matter the venue. Granted the aluminum neck attributes to the bright tone. Luckily this Kramer is not too bad weight wise, weighs around the same as my five string Fodera.

Just built such a thing. The FrankenMaple Jazz has a Squier CV 70s maple body and a Fender roast maple neck. With Fender Flats, Hipshot brass bridge and Aguilar pickups, it's warm at the neck but gets growly on the 70s position bridge pickup. Still getting to know the tells of this bass, but so far I'm finding it has huge sustain.

I have a Fretless with CV 70s body and Aguilar pickups. We got cousins…!!!

Pretty sure there are/have been at least one or two Hollow Body or Semi-Hollow Body basses made of maple with a maple neck, but not necessarily a maple fret board.

I've had a few Guild Pilots that were solid figured maple bodies with maple necks and rosewood fingerboards. They all had EMG pickups but no on board preamps. They all had a lot of high end content available in their tone. Some might call it a bit sterilel sounding but I liked it for the time.

Ibanez SR370E has a maple body. The neck is three strips of maple and two narrower strips of walnut. The board is jatoba, though.
