Ah crap!!!!!!!
you're 100% correct. it's probably the same preamp as used in their new BA-115 combo, and from the sound of this demo, the scrambler in it doesn't sound like their previous scrambler pedal so it looks like this one will be a very nice sounding unit
I like that amp... I could gig one of those.....
I gig the BA112 v2 sometimes. Might tonight, too. It's cold and I'm feeling lazy. But while I'd rather be gigging my V4B, I really can't complain about the BA112.I like that amp... I could gig one of those.....
Looks like the tone circuit they put on the Micro VR, PF350 and BA amps.
Not out yet, or at least I haven't seen it yet.Jimmy, did you try the BA210 yet ?
The blend and distortion knobs act as a de-facto volume control. It sure seems like an excellent pedal for a working bassist. The only thing is still beyond me: there is a switch to activate the distortion circuit, but no volume control? How is that going to work? Even on that video, where the amp with the Scrambler circuit is being demoed, you can tell that the minute you activate the distortion, the overall volume goes down. I understand that this is a nature of the effect, plus the compression kicks in as well. And there is no way to compensate that with a separate volume control? If they wanted to have this to add more character to the sound, then why bother adding a footswitch for it? I do hope there is some hidden trimpot to control this.
I have absolutely zero use for one of these but I still want it really, really bad.
