I have no idea what the hell you guys are talking about.
I didn't read the article.
Also, I came home and my sister was making some, so I asked if she could make me some while I attend to business.
That business would be you worthless jerks making your worthless jerk threads.![]()

Anyway, my girlfriend makes some great grilled cheese sandwiches. And I of course, often make grilled cheese sandwiches for her.
One of the comments on the article refers to that as an "open-faced club." Female grilled cheese, open-faced club, roast beef taco, whatever, I too find them all quite tasty.
If I could make myself a "grilled cheese", I would never leave the house...
I haven't had a grilled cheese sandwich in ten years, and I don't miss them that much, I keep on making them for my girlfriend and everything seems fine. I didn't know this was going to be like this, but if I knew I'd be terrified, but with time I can tell they are terribly overrated, and they live you a feeling of IOU, while in my case all the IOU's fall on my girlfriend, translating them in other nice treats, and who knows I might get a real grilled cheese sandwich.![]()
While it's great that your girlfriend is such a good cook that you don't feel a craving for a grilled cheese sandwich, even after 10 yearseek: IMO). However, the simple joy of even an occasional grilled cheese sandwich is, for me, a part of the full culinary experience. I enjoy making grilled cheese sandwiches as much as I like having them made for me.
My grilled cheese supply would dry up if I washed it down with lemonade. If life gives me grilled cheese sandwiches then I make lemonade because I'm dirty like that.
