Ad-Aware was slowing my computers startup and it took a long time to load then to do updates, etc. Dumped it. Does anyone have a good ad blocking alternative? Thanks.

Yep. Great program. As is Malwarebytes.Superantispyware is one of the best. It seems like not a lot of people know about it.

Be very, very, very careful using that registry cleanup thing.ccleaner.com is a great little program to clean up your system including a registry checker.
NoScript is hard for a lot of people to understand, and it takes a bit of experimentation to see which of about nineteen scripts a site may try to run on you are really needed to get the site to work for you, and which ones are just essentially spyware.There are people not using these???
