Am I crazy?

I have a 2011 MIA P which is the most comfortable bass I have ever owned. I am not overly impressed with the pickups though. They sound a little weak and almost muddy in comparison to my MIA P equipped with the EMG GzrP (Geezer Butler) Pickups.

I am seriously considering ordering another set for the MIA. Crazy?

I don't think so. The majority of fender players in my area swap the pickups out. In fact a lot of them went the fender routes specifically because there are more pickup options for fenders than anything else

Not crazy at all. Great thing about a P bass is the relatively low cost of after market pickups and the huge variety that are available. And the easy install.

I have a bunch myself, some nice ones too. Tempted to try the Geezer, nothing but rave reviews!
