I liked Europe back in the day ..... I was in middle school..
I thought the post was funny but could see how a hard core Europe fan(apparently they are still around, who knew?) could get offended by it though.
What I find crazy is that there is a Fender forum! This must be a well kept secret because here at TB we have a lot of people that try to turn every thread into a Fender thread even though it may be about someones cat that has worms or Ibanez. I wonder why they don't just go over to the forum where every thread is already a Fender thread? I think from now on when a Fender fanatic trys to turn a nonFender thread into a Fender thread, I'll tell them where they can go....

sick to death of the whole fender thing. I don't bash fender because I don't like their products, which I don't , I get peeved because every other word on Tb seems to be fender!

A guy in the Fender Forum wanted to know what gear the bassist from the band Europe used on tour in 1986. I dogged him a little bit, all in good fun - used laughing emoticons not shown here. This was my response:

Do you really expect someone to remember what gear an insignificant bassist from an insignificant band played on an insignificant tour named after an insignificant song 25 years ago?! :lol:

Your idea of humor is pretty mean spirited IMO. I mean really, the guy asks a question and you find it necessary to dog the guy for it ? What was actually funny about what you wrote ?

I'm all over it if it really is funny but just running the guy down isn't...
