Those are pretty cool instruments. I love the old Koa BC Rich's. The first "Boutique" instruments that I encountered, back in the late 1970's - well, those and Alembics. But I never saw Alembics first hand back then.

Hahaha... that says it all!

I wish I had enough money for an old USA Rich. I have an NJ Wave, but would love an old US one, it is my favorite BC Rich shape.

I found a very rare lefty '77 BC Rich Eagle bass last year. Mine's a transitional period Eagle when they were moving from the original Bodine bass PUPs to the double P PUPs you commonly see on these (and most) BC Rich basses.

It's an amazing bass, and, IMO, the best bass BC Rich ever made. The neck is probably the most comfortable I've ever encountered, and the bass balances perfectly unlike most BC Rich basses I've tried.

I'll be doing some various restoration on it this year.

Geezer Butler recorded the Live Evil album playing one of these.

That album has a lot of downsides, but the bass tone is one of my all time favorites.

Before I type this.....I'm a southpaw too. But,I play righty. I've ALWAYS thought ALL lefty basses looked awkward,weird,dorky,etc.
Not these!!! Why??? You tell me!!! Maybe 'cause of the weird shape (sorry,out of the ordinary),maybe???
