At this point, we had been driving for about 23 and a half hours straight. Left Louisiana on Friday morning and got to Cody, Wyoming on Saturday morning after driving straight through. Unfortunately the guy I was with was a d-bag and we couldn't stop anywhere while we were there. Not even the Buffalo Bill Cody Firearms Museum or whatever it is or anything else, either.

We totaled the car on the way back, up in the Texas panhandle or whatever it is. We had just come through OK and crossed into Texas when it happened. We were about 40-50 miles from the closest city of a decent size. There was a little town about 5 miles up the road from where we were, we found out after the 1am crash, when the police took us into town to the motel to check in for the morning. Maybe 1000 people lived there? It sucked. I ended up calling a family member and they drove 13 hours into Texas to come get us.

I ended up almost kicking the guy out of the vehicle about 8 different times while we were in BFE, Texas. Every time we'd stop, he'd talk crap and I was sick of it the first time he did it.

I ended up telling him off when we finally got to my house in Louisiana, about 15 miles from his house. I told him GTFO and don't ever call me again. That he had talked enough crap on the way back and that it wasn't gonna fly. So he had to find a ride home at 330am in then morning. I haven't spoken to him since. I had been friends with him since the 1990s.

Like for the pic. Not the other stuff. Too bad that some people change like that over time.

If you get a chance, go back to WY. You won't be disappointed! The Buffalo Bill Historical Center is pretty cool. Yellowstone is right there. The Chief Joseph and Beartooth highways are excellent drives!
