In the summers while I was in college, I worked for a commercial/industrial glass manufacturer. They had a master glass blower working there and I was amazed at the intricacy - and especially the accuracy - of his work. The medical industry was a major customer base and the tolerances on many pieces were extremely tight in addition to being quite complex. But this guy could blow them in spec over and over again all day long.
