Heaven's Gate Cave, Tianmen Mountain National Park, China
The rock arch formation you're looking at today is Heaven's Gate Cave, a popular landmark in Hunan province, China. This busy tourist destination is located on Tianmen (Heaven's Gate) Mountain in Tianmen Mountain National Park. To reach the arch, you must either ride a cable car or take a bus up a twisty, winding road with 99 turns. (The number 9 represents eternity in Chinese numerology.) Once off the bus, you'll need to walk 999 steps up a 45-degree incline—a stairway to the heavens. It's no easy feat, but this is no ordinary cave. At an elevation of 4,100 feet, the arch is 440 feet high and 180 feet wide.

I don't know; but, I found this.
Do Blue Trees Exist?
Technically, there aren’t any trees that have definitively blue leaves or a blue trunk. However, there are certain varieties and climates where some trees give the appearance of blue from far away or reflect light in a way that makes them appear grayish, blue, or deep blueish purple.
There are no trees that have properly blue leaves. However, some characteristics can make the green leaves look blue.
Why Are Some Trees Blue?
The answer to this question is simple: blue trees are not blue. They’re green, and they turn a slight shade of blue when the leaves fall off in autumn. Most of the leaves on a tree are green, but some are yellow, red, pink, orange, etc. Some trees may have blue leaves because they contain a certain amount of chlorophyll. Some plants have a delayed process of greening their leaves, which causes them to lose chlorophyll. Blue is very rare indeed. The most common colors for lack of chlorophyll include red, violet, or other warm tones. You might be able to expect to see such chlorophyll-deprived shades throughout the fall season.
The Blue Spruce is one of the most famous examples of a tree with blue leaves. It is a cone-shaped Christmas tree, it grows sometimes as big as 200 feet tall, and has a very dense crown.

Sort of the same, but a bit more purple; Jacarandas. These are flowers though, not leaves, I just love them.

The Niagara Escarpment is a long escarpment, or cuesta, in Canada and the United States that runs predominantly east–west from New York through Ontario, Michigan, Wisconsin, and into Illinois. The escarpment is most famous as the cliff over which the Niagara River plunges at Niagara Falls, for which it is named.

New Horizons finds blue skies and water ice on Pluto
The first color images of Pluto’s atmospheric hazes, returned by NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft last week, reveal that the hazes are blue.

The high-altitude haze is thought to be similar in nature to that seen at Saturn’s moon Titan. The source of both hazes likely involves sunlight-initiated chemical reactions of nitrogen and methane, leading to relatively small, soot-like particles (called tholins) that grow as they settle toward the surface. This image was generated by software that combines information from blue, red and near-infrared images to replicate the color a human eye would perceive as closely as possible.

My wife made this in a plant class, but hers sits on an end table. What’s cool is the roots look like a tarantula.

We used to have a huge one in the back garden before the fire (and have a seedling from that tree replanted - it's about 6' right now).
Here's the pros and cons of Jacaranda:
+ Very pretty
+ Provides lovely shade
+ Grows quickly
- Drops the pretty flowers, which turn brown on the ground after a couple of hours, and can stain concrete if wet (like tea).
- Drops the leaves - which, although they resemble fern fronds when on the branch, are individually about 1/4" long X 1/8" wide. And there are lots of them.
Clean up is a B****. Pretty, though.
Many streets in California are lined with them, which is spectacular.
