Amazon.com - Used CD's?

Anyone ever buy something used from Amazon? I had one of those American Express gift cards with $20 left on it, so to finish it off I just ordered 2 used CD's for a grand total of $16, and I'm just praying that they're still in good shape. They give the CD's ratings like "very good" or "good" or "like new", so hopefully they were telling the truth.
But still, I'd like to hear from somone who's had a first-hand experience with it.

That's good news guys. I ordered the 2 CD's the day before yesterday, so they should probably be here fairly soon (I ordered another CD from them 2 weeks ago and it came within 3 days so I'm hoping for the same results).
I'll let you know how they are when I get them.

BTW, the CD's I ordered are by one of my new favorite pianists. His name is Matt Savage, he's 14 years old and autistic, and he makes some seriously amazing jazz & blues. Check him out Invalid Link Removed. I suggest reading his bio (it really is pretty amazing) and just enjoy some incredible music on his web site, there's plenty of audio samples and I think they added some videos too.
Can't wait to get the CD's, I picked up his 2 newest releases and, judging by the reviews and the audio I've heard so far, they're gonna be awesome.

I've bought hundreds of used CD's from Amazon.

The only problems I've had were when a Stanley Clarke one had a broken case. The seller sent me a blank case, which was cool.

The only major problem was when I ordered a NEW copy of Hold Your Fire from the US. The disc had a scratch and so tracks 5-7 wouldn't play. I got a refund for it, and by the grace of God, somehow found that CD in town the same day, so I snapped it up.

Awesome, I just got the 2 CD's I ordered (1 came yesterday, the other came today).
Both CD's are in perfect condition, but one of the cases has a big crack straight across the front of it. No big deal, the CD's play perfectly so I'm happy with my purchase.
But it's kind of confusing.
The CD I got yesterday came in an already open case (ie, no plastic wrap or stick-on label on the top), and it was fine. The one I got today came fully sealed with the sticky still intact, but that was the one with the broken case. I guess it could've happened during shipping, or maybe they just repackaged a used case. Either way, I'm happy. The CD's are fine and the music is great.

LOL, sounds like something I'd do.
How's that CD?? I've only heard In Absentia and Deadwing (and 2 songs from Lightbulb Sun). I LOVE the band from what I've heard so far, but I know their older stuff can be pretty wierd/trippy. I've been looking to get more of their material but I have no idea where to start or what to look for.
