One more word about the tone. Despite the 'attack' name, this is not what I would call an aggressive sounding bass. It has a roundish sweet tone. I was concerned it would be lost in the mix but at church, DI'd into the PA and with the loudish folk/rock trio that was not the case. Very fat sound, possibly sightly scooped depending on the pickup selection.
I guess what I'm saying is if you're looking for a slicey/dicey kind of bass this may not be for you. It can lean that way with the MM or just the bridge coil of the MM soloed but it still sounds rounder than say a single coil jazz bridge pickup soloed. I've been leaving the EQ at noon with the switch in the front coil position. Solo the neck pickup it sounds P bassish for finger style, blend in the front coil of the MM and it sounds very active jazz slapish.
