Amazon Deals WITH Discussion Thread

Unhappy with it. Case was partially open, latches are broken/wonky, B-string is quite literally floppy despite 35" scale. Unimpressed with sound. Bass has a beautiful finish/color but that was the only impressive part. Back she goes to Amazon.

Bought one against my better judgment. Same bass from a guy here in the Classifieds but I want to have a return policy in case I don't like it. We'll see how it goes. I'm not much of a 5-string player but 35" scale with 18" string spacing = perfect for a 5-string in my opinion.

One thing to try is to set price alerts through a Chrome add-on called The Camelizer. You can lookup the price history of most things on amazon (nice chart) showing Amazon's price and third party sellers. There is an option to set a trigger price so it will email you if the price falls below your specified amount. Pretty handy tool.

likely, musiciansfriend and guitar center use to have deals all the time and price matching was easy but since 2013 or so they have seemed few and far between, same with Amazon YMMV.
+1. 20% off the street price used to be a common discount that has all but disappeared--now the real deals are closeouts/discontined items that can sell for far below MAP, even below wholesale if the vendor got a special deal or is taking a loss. They're few and far between. So what's left are little 10% and 15% discounts for the most part. :/

Not sure how crazy a deal this is, but my wish list says dropped 32% since added- 12 Duralcell 9V ProCell batteries for $15.85

Amazon.com: Duracell Procell 9 Volt Batteries, Pack of 12: Health & Personal Care

MUCH cheaper per unit if you buy 72 for $76.97

Amazon.com: Procell 9V Alkaline Battery Bulk Pack - 72 Per Package: Electronics

Use the batteries in the Boss Bass Driver BB-1X - now $119.99 (I feel like the announcer on "The Price Is Right")

Amazon.com: Boss BB-1X Bass Driver: Musical Instruments

Nice catch. As one of the beneficiaries of the infamous DB112NT deal way back, let me attest that these cabs are just pure bass honey. Love these bad boys. Plenty of big bottom. They will summon law enforcement.

I have 2 DB's also. How do you EQ them? I thought mids were their strong point. I've been running mine with less bass and a mid boost. How do you get law enforcement to come?
