Amazon Deals WITH Discussion Thread

I should have just bought 4 and used the older bags I had for shipping basses in. Man, the price to quality ratio on these is off the chain. Can't find anything wrong with it. One thing I really appreciate - zippers are nice and strong.
They've been zipped up and down 8,000 times! That was my favorite part of the ad copy by far.

The designer has played an amazing number of gigs!!

I initially ordered two of the WIND30 then after reading more on TB decided to cancel one WIND30 and get the AA51. Amazon shipped both of the WIND30 bags plus TWO of the others (and didn't charge for one) I'm very impressed with the quality of both models. I'll probably keep all of them and sell some of my hard cases.

As far as I could tell, the wind30 just had more pockets than the tang, is that right?

Did Amazon just remove the ability to filter by discount percentage when you browse? I don't see the option any more. I use that feature a lot when looking for music gear I don't need.
Yes, it looks like that feature has been removed. Between website functionality reductions, problems policing 3rd-party vendors, and slipping Prime shipping schedules, Amazon has systematically been making itself less attractive to me over the last year or two.

I currently have a set of Thomastik strings hung up in customs in Venezuela. Why are they in Venezuela at all? The merchant didn't indicate they are not domestic (the vendor's profile shipping tab indicates they use Fedex within the US and shipments take 2-3 days to arrive). Amazon cannot or will not enforce any kind of disclosure requirements on their vendors. A call with Amazon customer service was useless. (Worse than useless, actually, as it managed to get me more aggravated.) Okay, rant over.
