I had a buddy that asked which cheap combo amp for gigging would be good. I steered him to one of these Behringer combos a while back and he purchased it from Amazon. When it arrived, it wasn't a combo but just a cab. He was annoyed until he initiated the return process and they just told him to keep it and refunded his money. He ended up buying some used GK head and ended up with a nice setup for not much dough.

$57.11 is still a great deal compared to these strings normal cost before these Amazon offerings. They're $77 at Sweetwater.

It IS a good deal, but I wondered if ordering a couple sets together might ship for the same price, but no. The $11.73 shipping doubled with two sets. And tripled with three sets. If all of these were in one package, you would think that shipping should be slightly discounted, but no. Still a good deal, I guess.

Negative, the amount I mentioned already had the shipping added to the price quoted just above, which was $45.38 plus the shipping = $57.11.

Currently it's $44.69 plus the shipping = $56.42

I have the non-tuner version of this and it has been flawless. And I think that's pretty cheap too. In fact, darn it. I think I paid almost that much, and mine isn't as nice.

edit: Actually, I paid more. That's a good deal for any version.
