I own the download. Can't find the record or the CD or even a cassette right now. Randomly found 2814 on Bandcamp during an Amtrak train ride up the East Coast last year and fell in love ever since.

I got asked to do an in studio performance at a local community radio station. It was a bit intimidating, due to it was the first time I'd taken the new stereo setup out, as well as the fact that I just got the Aeros Stereo Looper 3 days earlier. But dang, it went really well. Levels were a bit hot when I came in with the disto/ebow. Playing my Cliff Bordwell 6 on this one. Hope ya dig. The show hosts (synth guys) come in around the 12:30 mark.
Indeed, but I'm far from having all the gear Pharmakon, Prurient,. Merzbow, Autechre, Tim Hecker, Ben Frost and such have.
I make the.most with what I have available. I can't spend $$$$$$$$$$$$ like those guys.

Hainbach is awesome. The first part of this is him documenting his set up and theme of the art work, etc., the performance starts at 13:00.

Did a solo bass thing through a eurorack granular sampler (Qi-Bit Nebulae2) then into a Make Noise Mimeophon, which I really love. Added a bit of perc to the solo bass and that's it. Nothing spectacular, but really fun to do
Yeah, that sounds pretty Hainbach-ish, actually.
What kind of bass is that? A TEISCO? Looks cool.

it's a Cataldo NR41. He's a builder in Florida. Awesome guy and great basses

I tried one a few years back and didn't even sort of bond with it and I have no idea why. On paper, the Deluge is an amazing instrument/controller, but the grid thing and lack of visual feedback just spooks me a bit.
Yeah. The Circuit seems to be a love/hate box for me. I like the functionality it claims, and folks who live it seem to make awesome things happen, but it isn't the most inspiring unit for me. It's decent but not a favorite.
I'm working on setting it up as my main clock device and sending the clock to my other time based effects. I want to try loading other noise samples into the drum channels. It'll be interesting to see what midi commands the various knobs send, as I might be able to control the Empress pedals with Circuit if it sends the right ones.
