We need to start a TB club for this

Wait isn't that mostly this threadWe need to start a TB club for this![]()
Heck, there's a lot of latitude. Half of the posts here have nothing to do with bass guitar, at all, and we're still all better for it.No apology needed - it was awesome! This seems like a perfect place for the discussion.

Oh, don't worry, more coming. To be honest, since we started doing that series, I've been playing nonstop, and last week I said fug it, and it was the first week I took off since last year. More coming, though... thanks.
I want morenof your duo stuff. Im still impreses by the tones you get out of a bass and a #&$&$& TON of pedals.
What's the hold up.![]()

This was extraordinarily tough, because, until this series, we were very casual, just getting together and having 4 hour shroom jams and such, but this put a torch under us to get serious, and although we had a few recurring ideas, we didn't have anything formal, and we didn't just wanna go down and wing it. We had to come up with 20 mins of material a month, and only get together twice a month, so every night I was up in the sound lab playing, but not necessarily playing for myself - I haven't worked on any of my solo stuff, at all. I was really starting to feel burnt/obligated. We have a show next Sat, so starting tonight, I'm back at it, but it felt so good to just play video games and watch crappy action flicks for a week.Taking a break IME makes a huge difference for the mind and soul. Like me yesterday, spent about 1h30 trying to pump out some new stuff for the band on bass and said «fug » it for the rest of the day, My brain was a creative desert of nothing.
I could have faked it and pumped out 2h worth of noise art though........hahahah
Edit: sorry for the "like me" thing.....i hate turning conversations that way. Personal pet peeve and I did it myself without realizing.

Long story short. Might be pulling the trigger on a second Red Panda particle v1 to use as the nuclear havoc noise machine to use with my dual rig.
Is this overkill....one on the noise manipulation rig with looper and one on my « bass » pedal board...???
(Talk about 1st world problems.)
Don't sweat it.
The twin pillars of ambient, Motorhead and James Brown, in one stunning new mashup:
