Have to ask... does anyone know what “genre” a slower minimal techno would be?
Went to a coffee shop and the guy was overly British (weird to ask?) and he had some really chill electronic music in the background where most the beats were like extra reverb and ultra ultra slow tempo... sorry just came to me and youtube doesn’t really help me much trying to search for it! Slow psy trance or something?

Carbon Based Lifeforms and Cryo Chamber are my main playlist at the moment.
About 10-12 years ago I was in a phase where I got into "chillout" type music. Back when Pandora was kind of new and you didn't need an account to use it, I would surf it for stuff like that as well as weird underground hiphop stuff, the forerunner of today's lo fi hiphop beats (look up Chilled Cow's channel on youtube). I would do coding or design work on my laptop and let Pandora run in the earbuds.
That led me to stuff like Bluetech, which I still dig when I'm in the mood. It's "electronic dub", or something. Whatever you call it, it's good stuff.
I've seen videos of him doing this stuff live. Pretty much everyone in the crowd was baked or tripping. I don't know why I seem to be attracted to music everyone else thinks you need drugs for, when I have zero interest in substances other than the occasional beer or bourbon. But as a rock musician since I was 15 or so, this had been a continuous subplot of my life.

i liked the blutech enough to listen to part of one his albums. pretty cool stuff. kinda had a chuckle when he got into thing that reminded me a lot of “boogie woogie waltz” by weather report (not a bad thing).
i can’t play with any sort of buzz. i learned that a long time ago. what’s funny is that i’ve done albums where the reviewer was saying it perfect music to twist one up.
anywho. i liked the bluetech stuff i heard.

I recommend Bluetech's Prima Materia album, it's my favorite Bluetech work.
He also puts out music under other names, such as the aforementioned Evan Marc and also Evan Bartholomew; under the latter name his stuff is much more spacemusic style, way different than the Bluetech dub stuff:
