Oh yeah? I'd rather have hemorrhoid surgery with no anesthesia.I have not & will not watch that piece of garbage...ever.
I’d rather pour battery acid in my eyes.

The other granular app that gets a lot of props...Hello I have a new best buddy, his name is Borderlands granular.
He is gonna help me make even more "nonsense".
With a splitter, this thing is straight up nuts, live recording and improv FTW!!!!
Already busted out a few recordings.

Yeah, I mean, how many bands can touch FDQFP13? Not even Zepp or the Beatles.
Dammit, way to ruin my smartass comment with seriousness.Seriously. Zeppelin & Beatles combined have less time on my stereo than FDQFP13. The box set is totally worth it. It’s fun to hear the raw songs that got reworked and later used by Wednesday 13 and/or Murderdolls. The movie dialogue samples they grabbed are also pretty wild.

Here's a new one I did a few weeks ago. The mallet stuff is a combination of me tweaking patterns in real time on the TR-8S, and there's also a wavestate patch in there doing a polyrhythm with the same sound. The plinky thing is the Virus, and the ambient pad thing is... I can't remember, as my DAW isn't open... it's either Virus or Wavestate. Enjoy.

Yes. Yes, I do hate you now.Interesting. I know you'll hate me for this, but it reminds me of 80s Tangerine Dream soundtrack stuff.![]()
I was raised on all of that stuff, too, but the nostalgia isn't so strong that I need to incorporate it into my listening. I remember, even back then, thinking about how crappy the sounds and especially music were in those games.Well, I played a lot of computer games in the 90s and when I was younger we played Atari 2600 console games and 80s arcade games to death so I get it to some degree. Not really my go to for listening pleasure at the moment, though.
I am going through my libraries and downsampling everything to 8 bit in anticipation.i hear the iridium 3.0 firmware is gonna be all about the chiptune.
it’s gonna be huge!
That’s gotten some love here before. I think duke was using it for quite a while.
Here is one of the improvs I did with Borderlands Granular and an analog synth.
100% improvisation, no preset anything in the app, recorded samples as I went.
More "nonsense"......but fun as heck to do.
I think this set up has plenty of potential.
