"Talk to the hands"
Unwatchable due to the constant vague hand gestures (if you're going to point out a feature on the unit being reviewed POINT AT IT instead of waggling your fingers all over half the unit's real-estate),
AND
unwatchable due to the William-Shatner-on-Speed delivery.
It's an Israeli accent.I'll try again, Steubig, but there's also that off-kilter speech delivery to contend with.
What's unusual is I don't usually let things like that bother me.
Am I wrong thinking that this pedal does most of the work for you??Was just coming over to post this, but you beat me to it. Very impressive. It's an effect, not a synth, which makes me want it even more.
HK, like Internet demos, is a potpourri of accents, none bother me. It's something to do with the speeding up and slowing down... My cat's vet mumbles with a Dutch accent, very difficult to understand but a funny guy. One of my MTB mates is a Yorkie who doesn't mumble, but it's still easier to understand my vet if I haven't seen my buddy in a while. It's an Israeli accent.
He does some of the most thorough demo vids out there, so you're missing out on a lot if you get hung up on hands and such.
Perhaps. I see it as a pedal that does the things my other pedals can't do, in an original way. If I wanted everything to be a labor, I'd already have a modular system.Am I wrong thinking that this pedal does most of the work for you??
Sort of “idiot proof”.....???
Just my impression from the vid, I could definitely be wrong here.
But the guy just noodles randomly and turns it into some ambient pad in secs.
But, I definitely sounds very good, nice thick textures. Hey, I can use an easy button once in a while
Opinions on this matter?
I agree and yet again failed to express my thoughts coherently.Perhaps. I see it as a pedal that does the things my other pedals can't do, in an original way. If I wanted everything to be a labor, I'd already have a modular system.
I think it does it in a way that does require understanding of how they all work together, it's not as idiot proof as it may seem.
Regarding the replication of things...
My favourite peice I made ill never be able to replicate 100%...
zoom hand held mic to a speaker with 2 delays I don’t own anymore. Boss PS3 I don’t own anymore for the warbly octave up to 2 octave up... OG Proco turbo rat I don’t own anymore and my bass wasn’t tuned so have no idea what tuning it was in... could have been drop A or lower... glad it was recorded cos that’s a Once in a lifetime sound now hah!
Yes, but I'm more about the end result than the method, I think a lot of creativity goes into making these sounds, and it does a lot more than you suspect it does. Also cool for if I just wanna take a small synth and this somewhere and not deal with the board.I agree and yet again failed to express my thoughts coherently.
Maybe I should have said, with prior knowledge and experience with loopers and pedals this unit seems fairly easy and forgiving to creat textural audio sounds.
And yes, I agree 100%, easy simple is GOOD!!!!!
but not DAW auto correct snap to grid crap.....quantize everything. (I freakin LOATH that. )
Better expressed and written??
Oh, yeah this one definitely has my interest.Yes, but I'm more about the end result than the method, I think a lot of creativity goes into making these sounds, and it does a lot more than you suspect it does. I inquired about a pre-order, as to whether or not it needs to be paid in full. If it doesn't I think I'll get it.
480 euro, is without shipping and duties. To preorder just email them. When your turn comes they will email asking for payment. You are under no obligation to buy.
one of rhe cool things about the social media universe is stumbling onto people who are doing interesting things.

@ugly_bassplayer cool. link for performance?
@JES totally agree. depends what you out in it (with any of this stuff, really) and had the same thought about the erase/replace functions.
